Using their own fire extinguisher training video, Peterlee Fire Company instructors explain the theory of fire, fire chemistry, classes of fire, and advise on suitability of equipment to protect individual fire risks. Extinguishers are demonstrated in live fire situations, which may be held at the customer's own premises or those of Peterlee Fire Company. Courses are very much tailor-made to suit individual customer needs and budgets. They range from introductory thirty minutes duration to two day courses, depending upon the subject and depth of knowledge required. Certificates of attendance are issued to all course delegates. Fire training is not limited to fire extinguisher training sessions.
